PHILOSOPHY:

Leadership and Public Service Academy prepares students to understand the government, its function, and their leadership role in the shaping of society as responsible citizens. It promotes active participants who are committed to helping the community through emergency preparedness and public safety.

COMMITMENT:

The Leadership and Public Service Academy is committed to rigor, relationships, community service, and college/career-readiness.  We expect students to work hard and do their best.

CORNERSTONES:

Our assignments and activities will all incorporate and be true to our four cornerstones, which are as follows:

  • Equity: Students will be treated equally no matter what.
  • Personalization: Our academy will stay connect with the community and parents.  Students will receive extra academic support in your advisory.
  • Rigor: Students will be held to high standards academically.
